Women’s Health Physiotherapy

Nearly 1 in 3 women will experience pelvis and pelvic floor muscle problems during their lifetime. Often these problems are associated with changes that occur during pregnancy and the postpartum period. However, many women have suffered with pelvic floor muscle symptoms since early adolescence, while others will experience problems only as they transition into menopause. Many women will accept these changes as natural consequences of motherhood or ageing, without knowing that safe and effective treatment is available.

At Cambridge Health Clinic, we offer a specialised women’s health service for the diagnosis and treatment of a range of pelvic floor muscle problems. We will discuss your symptoms in depth, perform a thorough assessment of the pelvic floor muscles and provide an individualised treatment program to help improve your symptoms.
